In his diplomatic career, he represented India in high-level bilateral and multilateral dialogues with global powers including Russia, China, the United States, Germany, Japan, France, the European Commission and the Asian Development Bank. He also worked on strategic partnerships with leading organizations such as Samsung, GIZ, the World Bank, IEA, IPEEC, G20, and BRICS.
Recognized by the Government of India and several international institutions for his contributions to global energy diplomacy, Ishan combines strategic foresight with cultural fluency. With over 24 years of experience in the construction and private equity investment sectors, Mr. Juan Carlos Duarte Vanegas has established himself as a leader in high-impact investments that promote economic, social, and environmental development. His expertise encompasses strategic planning, business financing, project risk management, financial model structuring, and project finance, all underpinned by a commitment to sustainability and real value creation.
Mr. Duarte holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Quindío and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the same institution. His career trajectory includes significant roles such as partner and manager at Ingexp Ltda. Export Engineering, legal representative of a joint venture for building construction and urban planning in various projects across Colombia, management advisor and construction director at World, Home & Construction S.A.S. (W H & C S.A.S.), and management advisor and technical director at Ingexpo 1551 S.A.S. and DV Construcciones S.A.S. His most recent position was as manager at Vadu Capital Group S.A.S.

He has served as Assistant Manager of ICAGEL LTDA, Manager of INURBE Quindío and TELEARMENIA, Rector of the University of Quindío and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the same institution, and as a Founding Partner and legal representative of construction companies. His career combines strategic direction, leadership of large projects, and efficient resource management.
