Position Overview
El Dorado Energía e Infra S.A.S invites applications from qualified and experienced Spanish–English Translators based in Colombia to provide professional translation and interpretation services on a per-day basis.
The selected candidate will assist during business meetings, technical discussions, and documentation exchanges, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural sensitivity in all communications.
Key Responsibilities

Provide real-time interpretation during virtual and in-person business meetings.

Translate official correspondence, business documents, and technical materials between Spanish and English.

Support effective communication between Colombian and international teams.

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all engagements.

Be available to participate in meetings with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Qualifications & Requirements

Native Spanish speaker, currently residing in Colombia.

Strong proficiency in spoken and written English.

Minimum 2 years of professional translation or interpretation experience (preferred, not mandatory for part-time applicants).

Experience or familiarity with technical or business communication in the energy/infrastructure sector is an advantage.

Reliable internet access and communication tools (Zoom, Teams, WhatsApp, etc.).
