Position Overview

El Dorado Energía e Infra S.A.S invites applications from qualified and experienced Spanish–English Translators based in Colombia to provide professional translation and interpretation services on a per-day basis.

The selected candidate will assist during business meetings, technical discussions, and documentation exchanges, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural sensitivity in all communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide real-time interpretation during virtual and in-person business meetings.
• Translate official correspondence, business documents, and technical materials between Spanish and English.
• Support effective communication between Colombian and international teams.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all engagements.
• Be available to participate in meetings with at least 24 hours’ notice.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Native Spanish speaker, currently residing in Colombia.
• Strong proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Minimum 2 years of professional translation or interpretation experience (preferred, not mandatory for part-time applicants).
• Experience or familiarity with technical or business communication in the energy/infrastructure sector is an advantage.
• Reliable internet access and communication tools (Zoom, Teams, WhatsApp, etc.).
• Students pursuing university studies in languages, translation, or related fields are encouraged to apply for part-time opportunities.
